Environmental Compliance Specialist

My client, an established pharmaceutical multinational in Cork are recruiting for an experienced Environmental Compliance Specialist to join their team on a 12 month contract.

Overview:
The Environmental Compliance Specialist ensures adherence to environmental regulations and standards at a regulated manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and permits.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports (e.g., AER, EPR).
• Manage the Environmental Management System (EMS) and related programs.
• Liaise with regulators and internal teams to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Science, Physical Sciences, or Engineering.
• 2-5 years' experience in environmental compliance within a regulated industry.
• Environmental emissions licences is a must
• Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., REACH, DGSA).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
