Pharmacy Trainer

Job description

Our Client prides themselves on producing high quality nutraceuticals in a variety of OTC categories. They now have a requirement for a new addition to the team, one who is highly motivated, ambitious, dedicated with the ambition to grow and develop existing business through education and relationship building. 
They are looking to hire a Trainer/ Ophthalmology representative to deliver product related information to a customer base consisting primarily of Pharmacies right across the republic of Ireland. The Trainer will work with an existing customer base in addition to new customers as and when required. There is also a requirement for the successful candidate to visit ophthalmologist and their wider teams in secondary care via an educational and training capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the delivery of product information to pharmacies across the Republic of Ireland.

  • Educate and build repour with Ophthalmologist in secondary care.

  • Develop strong working relationships with a range of Pharmacists, Technicians and Counter Staff.

  • Prioritise objectives and schedule work to make best use of time and resources

  • Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the product range.

  • Actively gather market intelligence and competitor portfolio / activities and supply information in line with the portfolio.

  • Attendance at industry events

Outputs

  • Increased product portfolio sales-out in a pharmacy post training

  • Increased customer loyalty for the brands and company.

  • An understanding of secondary care in the ophthalmology space and the ability to use that understanding for the benefit of portfolio development.

  • Demonstrate a real desire to develop both in a personal and professional development capacity, to evolve in the role and to take on larger projects over time
