Field Sales Manager
Job description
The Role
As the Field Sales Manager, you will lead, develop, coach, and motivate the Ireland sales team, focusing on revenue growth and market share expansion through diverse commercial opportunities. This customer-facing role requires you to identify and build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), including payers and business leads within the healthcare ecosystem. Leveraging insights and business intelligence, you will collaborate closely with Marketing to design innovative campaigns that enhance our value proposition and drive business growth. You’ll have full autonomy to create, execute, and deliver results aligned with the Ireland annual business plan. Additionally, you will work alongside colleagues in the UK & Ireland team, as well as globally, to develop strategies and tools that support market expansion for our existing portfolio.
In this role, you will fully understand Ireland’s evolving healthcare, policy, and payer environment, sharing your expertise and best practices with the wider team. Working closely with the Country Manager, you will assess commercial data and environmental insights to align on impactful projects that promote growth. A key responsibility will be to identify and map stakeholders in healthcare, policy, and payer sectors, cultivating impactful, sustainable relationships that create a supportive environment for promoting our product and service portfolio. Collaborating with Clinical Services, you will design innovative strategies to enhance the patient experience. You will craft clear, evidence-based value messages and tools to showcase our full value offering, meeting identified payer needs. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and assessment of innovative pricing strategies to protect and grow the business.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for an inspiring leader who fosters a culture of growth and collaboration. You should promote agility with a positive mindset to respond to change and demonstrate strong, decisive leadership skills. As a commercially astute sales professional with a proven track record of delivering results, you will bring a collaborative approach with strong influencing and negotiation abilities.
You should have direct experience in people leadership, with a history of personal and team development. An excellent understanding of the HSE/PCRS and HSCNI landscape, with insights into their requirements for clinical evidence and cost-effectiveness arguments, is essential. Strong business planning skills are key, along with the ability to think ahead, engage proactively, and influence environmental changes. Although experience with Ostomy/Continence market dynamics is desirable, it is not required.
If you are a commercially driven sales professional passionate about healthcare and dedicated to delivering results, we’d love to hear from you. Join us in making a difference in patients’ lives by improving access to essential products and services in Ireland.
