Job Title: ICT Engineer
Role Type: Permanent
Location: Naas, Co. Kildare
Force Recruitment have partnered with a Medical Device, Instrumentation & Consumables company who work within the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology industries. We are recruiting a ICT Engineer on a Full Time, Permanent basis. This position will involve implementing and supporting IT systems in hospitals across Ireland along with delivering training programmes for such systems. This role involves travel throughout the Republic of Ireland.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Configuration of IT systems supplied by the company.

  • Interfacing with Hospital Wide Information Systems such as Laboratory and PACS systems

  • Delivery of a Training programme in accordance with standards and requirements.

  • Provide Training to key personnel on-site

  • Assist in development of Project Management systems to be used for Project tracking, Status reports, Call Logging etc.

  • Active participation in a 24x7 on call rotation and occasional work outside of normal business hours required

  • Assist in development and operation of in-house structures to deal with support and service Health Informatics products.

  • Provide Support and Maintenance functions as and when required. This includes Helpdesk duties, customer issue troubleshooting, upgrades, installations etc.

  • Assist in other Health Informatics concerns such as creating content for website, attending conferences and other general day to day administration tasks.

  • Adherence to all health, safety and quality requirements and procedures.

  • Representing the best interests of the company at all times.

  • Other ad-hoc tasks requested by members of the group and divisional management teams from time to time.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience of System Deployment

  • Experience with MS SQL Server & Networking and Software Configuration

  • Project Management skills

  • Full, clean driving license

  • Proficient with MS Office products and graphic design packages.


Candidates must hold a Stamp 4 Visa or EU/EEA Passport to be considered for this role.
