Key Account Manager - Ireland (Vitamins & Nutritional Products)

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to oversee and collaborate with key accounts and key stakeholders within the pharmacy vitamins and nutritional products sector. The ideal candidate will understand and anticipate the current and future business needs of key accounts across diverse customer segments, translating these insights into effective strategies and solutions. The KAM will be the primary account lead for major pharmacy groups and key customers in Ireland, engaging with both head office and regional-based decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between key customers and internal teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication.

  • Collaborative Strategy Development: Work closely with the National Sales Manager and sales teams across both our retail and B2B channels in Ireland to develop and execute account strategies.

  • Long-Term Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with a portfolio of key customers, ensuring alignment with their business goals and objectives.

  • Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong internal relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment across various departments.

  • Solution Delivery: Proactively propose and deliver tailored product and service solutions that meet the specific needs of each key account.

  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and address any quality issues promptly to maintain high standards and customer satisfaction.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on structural and policy changes at key accounts, adjusting strategies accordingly.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive strategies, recommendations, and briefing documents for engagement with key accounts.

  • Attention to Detail: Maintain meticulous attention to detail, particularly in summarizing and communicating the findings from complex and extensive documents.

  • Portfolio Management: Demonstrate agility in managing a broad portfolio of vitamin and nutritional products, coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

  • Relationship Building Across Levels: Engage with key accounts at all levels and functions to deepen relationships and foster collaboration.

  • Flexibility and Travel: Maintain a flexible approach to working hours and be willing to travel across Ireland (up to 75% of the time).

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably within the vitamins, nutritional products, or FMCG sectors.

  • Account Management: Demonstrated experience in account management, with a track record of building and maintaining successful customer relationships.

  • Organizational Skills: Highly self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical and computer literacy, with proficiency in tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
