Role Title: Quality Specialist

Role Type: 12 month contract

Location: Co. Westmeath

We are currently working with a materials and chemicals manufacturer based in Co. Westmeath that is looking for a Quality Specialist to join their team.

Job responsibilities:

• Maintain QMS documentation in alignment with the IPEC GMP and ISO requirement.

• Develop relevant Quality SOPs as necessary.

• Conduct batch record review and assist Quality Manager in releasing conforming product via iLIMS.

• Support Quality Manager in maintaining Change Management (MOC), NCR processes and site Training Management system as per QMS requirement.

• Manage the internal audit program and assist Quality Manager in external/customer audits.

• Provide direct customer support responding to customer requests/ complaints.

• Support Quality Manager in supplier Management activities.

• Perform outgoing inspection of customer orders prior shipment.

• Maintaining documentation of external/internal calibration and preventative maintenance of equipment on site.

Desired qualifications:

• Minimum B.Sc Degree or equivalent, alternatively in some cases, a combination of relevant education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered sufficient to fulfill the requirements of the role.

• 2+ years experience that provides the knowledge and skills to perform the job.

• Significant industry experience working in a QMS, and GMP environment is essential.
