Senior Manger - PMO (Project Management) - Dublin 15
Our client, a biopharma multinational, is looking to recruit a temporary Senior Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) on a 6 month fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity to support the management of PMO and digital implementation for the campus. The successful candidate will report directly into the Director of Strategy and Business Excellence and will oversee the selection, execution and closeout of the projects/ programs which have been identified as key to the delivery of the required business benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure and manage effective business governance processes to support the day-to-day business performance.
Ensure site strategy, objectives, and key projects in the portfolio (including updates) are clearly communicated across to the organisation.
Ensure processes are aligned with Global Planning and Supply (GPS) PMO standards and integrated with other relevant site and GPS business process.
Ensure all executed projects and programs are aligned with the site strategic plan and adhere to all of the defined processes and meet the required standards for planning and execution.
Develop integrated, detailed plans for executing the PMO portfolio, including capture and prioritization of programs, assigning of resources and setting of key milestones.
Lead overall program governance and reporting to key stakeholders, Leadership teams and the Global Planning and Supply (GPS) PMO team.
Oversee the process for realization and capture of benefits from the programs/ projects.
Facilitate cross –site, cross functional interactions and provide support between sites and HQ functions as required.
Lead positive conflict and issue resolution at portfolio and program team level. Facilitate decision making and development of remediation plans.
Provide mentoring and coaching to Program Sponsors, Managers and Lead End Users.
Manage Program /Project lessons learned processes and the continuous improvement of the PMO.
Lead strategically important initiatives, assuming the role of Program Manager.
Professional experience and qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Sciences, Engineering or Business administration is required.
A qualification in project and program management is required.
Extensive leadership experience in project /program management.
Extensive experience working within the Biopharma/ Pharma manufacturing and supply environment.
The candidate will have proven decision-making ability, strong communication skills and the ability to work well and influence cross functionally.
