Our Client is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join their dental practice. The ideal candidate will be a registered dentist in Ireland with a passion for providing high-quality dental care. You will work within a supportive and professional team to deliver comprehensive care to patients, ensuring they have the best possible dental experience.
- Provide a full range of general dental services, including but not limited to, routine check-ups, restorative treatments, preventive care, and extractions.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions, diseases, and injuries.
- Perform oral health assessments and treatment planning.
- Administer local anaesthesia and other pain control measures as necessary.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with practice policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest dental techniques, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Ensure all treatments and procedures comply with relevant health and safety regulations and professional guidelines.
- Build rapport with patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their care.
- Handle patient complaints and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Must be a registered dentist with the Dental Council of Ireland.
- Hold a degree in Dentistry (Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a General Dentist with strong clinical skills.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, oral health care practices, and relevant medical conditions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures and treatments to patients.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently, depending on the situation.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up-to-date with current dental practices.
