Job description
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain in-depth therapeutic area and scientific expertise to ensure credible dissemination of information, foster informed dialogue with healthcare professionals, and build professional relationships with external experts.
Represent the company at relevant scientific society meetings and conferences, synthesizing key takeaways such as emerging trends in diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment within the therapeutic area.
Lead internal training initiatives for the medical division and cross-functional brand teams, ensuring comprehensive understanding of the therapeutic area and associated products.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with established and emerging external experts to enhance the company's scientific credibility.
Address scientific and medical inquiries, providing timely and accurate updates to external experts as appropriate.
Contribute to the initiation, oversight, and follow-up of assigned clinical studies and Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) projects.
Serve as a scientific resource for clinical study investigators, supporting study-related activities and fostering strong scientific collaborations.
Collaborate closely with global therapeutic area teams to align strategies and share insights.
Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry guidelines, and company policies to uphold ethical standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
A BSc, MPharm, or PhD in a scientific discipline.
Solid understanding of scientific methods used in clinical research and familiarity with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Previous experience in the therapeutic area (preferred).
Proven track record in a clinically focused role.
Experience in customer-facing roles within the healthcare industry.
Exposure to medical affairs or medical information functions within the healthcare sector.
Proficiency in presenting and interpreting scientific or clinical research publications.
