Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Force Recruitment have partnered with a leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturer in North Dublin to hire a Supply Chain Manager on a full time, permanent basis. reporting to the Global Supply Planning Director, the Supply Chain Manager oversees demand and supply for key molecules in Global Markets and Supply Sites. This role will manager a team, and previous management experience is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of supply planners and senior supply planners, setting and managing annual performance goals and providing daily direction and support.

  • Oversee global demand and supply balance for assigned supply chains and drive Global Sales & Operations Planning, leading discussions on specific supply chains and molecules.

  • Analyze and optimize site demand, addressing capacity shortfalls while aligning with inventory targets, and decide on optimal supply chain flows for efficient product movement within the network.

  • Conduct "what if" analyses and develop contingency plans for potential changes to the supply network, and act as a key stakeholder in projects where supply flows are changing.

  • Communicate effectively with global stakeholders and manage expectations, fostering strong relationships with internal teams (production, quality, logistics, procurement, finance, IT) and external stakeholders as needed.

  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, engagement, and empowerment, promoting process improvement and proposing alternative practices for greater efficiency.

  • Deliver results by assessing supply chain operational metrics to identify critical actions that sustain or enhance performance.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years Pharmaceutical Supply Chain experience. (essential)

  • Supply Chain Management with experience managing site budgets and employees is a distinct advantage. (beneficial)

  • Qualification in a Business-Related discipline or Supply Chain. (essential)

  • Previous Rapid Response and/ or SAP experience (beneficial)

  • Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office systems essential especially Microsoft Excel.
