General Operative

Location: Shannon, Co. Clare

Purpose of job:
As a General Operative , you will play a key role in supporting our healthcare supply chain operations. You will assist in the assembly, packaging, and distribution of medical supplies and kits, ensuring that high standards of quality and compliance are maintained in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Kitting & Assembly: Assemble medical and diagnostic kits according to specific guidelines.

• Packing & Shipping: Prepare products for shipment, ensuring they are correctly packaged, labeled, and stored.

• Quality Control: Perform visual inspections of assembled kits and supplies to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.

• Warehouse Support: Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and organising stock.

• Logistics Coordination: Support the timely dispatch of products through coordination with the logistics team, ensuring on-time delivery.

• Temperature Control: Work within temperature-controlled environments to handle sensitive healthcare materials.

• Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.

• Good communication skills.

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move boxes or equipment as required.

• Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and tracking orders.
