My client, an established Irish pharmaceutical multinational are seeking to to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join their facilities, utilities & maintenance engineering team in Dublin 18.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled and trade-qualified Maintenance Technician (mechanical or electrical) and will be responsible for supporting the operation and maintenance of a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing and development facilities.

The Technician will handle both preventive and corrective maintenance for specialized equipment, systems, and infrastructure, ensuring peak performance and adherence to regulatory standards.

This role requires strong vendor management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

• Trade-qualified in either mechanical or electrical discipline.

• Proven experience in a maintenance role within a GMP, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries.

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.

• Experience with vendor management, including the coordination and oversight of contractors and service providers.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and external vendors.

• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
