National Account Manager – Pharmacy and Healthcare - Dublin

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Strategy

  • Manage and grow business across multiple regional accounts.

  • Support development of brand and category plans aligned with company goals.

  • Drive Joint Business Plans that reflect account strategies and maximize opportunities.

  • Use business analytics and category insights to influence internal and customer decisions.

  • Contribute to brand pricing strategies.

Execution

  • Secure promotional activity and new product listings to optimize business potential.

  • Ensure strong execution of plans online and in-store.

  • Lead cost price increase negotiations with assigned customers.

Performance Management

  • Deliver NSV, profitability targets, and brand plans across assigned accounts.

  • Monitor and manage sales growth, market share, and KPIs monthly, quarterly, and annually.

Operations & Admin

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and collaborate with Brand and Logistics teams for stock planning.

  • Maintain up-to-date records on trading terms and account objectives.

  • Manage promotional budgets and identify areas for investment improvement.

Market Insight & Collaboration

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Attend client reviews and support ad hoc requests from management.

Requirements:

Experience

  • 3–5 years in National Account Management in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven track record with retail pharmacy chains and wholesalers.

  • Experience in healthcare/OTC products is essential.

  • Strong background in joint business planning and stakeholder management.

Skills

  • Skilled negotiator with commercial acumen.

  • Strong grasp of ROI, promo evaluation, and sales forecasting.

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate level).

  • Strong analytical and category management skills.

  • Awareness of broader economic and industry trends.

Education

  • Good general education (Maths and English essential).

  • Business-related degree preferred but not required.
