Job description
Responsibilities
Proposal Creation & Delivery: Develop and submit compliant, professionally crafted proposals within customer-defined timeframes.
Document Standardization & Quality Control: Ensure all proposal documents adhere to standard formatting and maintain high-quality standards.
Commercial Review & Pricing: Prepare and review the commercial aspects of bids, ensuring all services are accurately reflected in the final pricing.
Technical Support for Sales: Provide hands-on technical assistance to the sales team throughout the proposal development process.
Coordination with Production Teams: Work closely with production teams to confirm that proposals align with estimated costs, manufacturing schedules, and installation plans.
Presentation Development: Create PowerPoint presentations to support proposal documents, enhancing clarity and professionalism.
On-Site Sales Support: Assist the sales team on-site during proposal submissions to reinforce the proposal's content and address client queries.
Process Compliance & Costing Accuracy: Follow established processes for generating costings and proposal information to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Best Practice Advocacy: Promote best practices for the layout and content of all proposal submissions to enhance effectiveness and readability.
What We Are Looking For
Proficiency in Office 365: Confident using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Customer Focused: Passionate about building strong relationships with internal and external customers.
Relevant Experience: Previous experience working in an engineering or technical sales team.
Strong Writing Skills: Ability to produce technical specifications and quotations.
Time Management: Capable of working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and handling multiple priorities.
Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and methodical working approach.
Analytical Abilities: Comfortable with data and numbers.
Continuous Learning: Desire to develop and expand skills.
Technical Advantage: Ability to read and produce drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD is beneficial.
