Mullingar Chamber is currently seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and to implement its mission, values, and strategy. Reporting to the Board the CEO will be responsible for the Chamber's continued development as the voice of Mullingar business with key stakeholders
The Role
This role includes full accountability for financial reporting, operational activities, and the resources needed to execute the Strategic Plan. Achieving ambitious membership growth targets through acquiring and managing new and existing members, along with delivering a market-leading program, will be crucial to the new CEO's success.
The Role
Reporting to the board, the Chief Executive Officer will take overall responsibility for the day to day running of Mullingar Chamber delivering on the following key priorities:
- Corporate Governance – Following GAAP principles of Corporate Governance, preparing for and running monthly board meetings as well as the preparation and presentation of all relevant documents and delivery on all key follow up items
- Stakeholder Management – To liaise with over 200 members and manage our membership database and membership awareness of our activities. To manage key relationships with all our key internal and external stakeholders throughout the year
- Office Management – To manage all the activities of our office in Mullingar, assisted by an assistant and part-time staff and external consultants as needed
- Financial Reporting – To prepare and report on a monthly basis on key financial items that indicate performance and progress in the delivery of our strategic goals
- Event Management – To plan and manage four key events in our events calendar and maximize the cultural and financial potential and impact of these events
- Capacity: Capable of delivering on strategic goals.
- Commitment: Proven ability to commit to and achieve strategic goals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both
- internally and externally.
- Co-Operation: Proven ability to collaborate with all stakeholders while
- maintaining focus on outcomes.
