The Club is embarking on an exciting new strategic cycle and is seeking a driven, dynamic Club General Manager to lead its operations and deliver its vision for growth and development. This pivotal role will ensure that Mullingar Golf Club continues to thrive as a premier destination for golfers and a welcoming space for members and guests.

The Role

The Club General Manager will oversee all aspects of club operations, including:

Course and Clubhouse Management: Ensuring the golf course and clubhouse facilities operate at the highest standards and comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Strategic Implementation: Delivering the Club’s strategic objectives, fostering and leading growth across diverse revenue streams, and enhancing member and visitors’ experiences.

Financial Oversight: Managing budgets, providing regular reports, optimizing resources, and driving financial sustainability.

Team Leadership: Inspiring and managing a diverse team of staff and collaborating effectively with the voluntary members’ committee of management.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

Experience: Business or Club management qualification is preferred, linked with a track record of exceptional customer satisfaction.

Strategic Expertise: Proven success in delivering organizational growth and implementing long-term strategies.

Financial Acumen: Strong financial management skills with a focus on sustainability and growth.

Leadership Skills: A collaborative and motivational approach to managing teams and engaging with members.

Knowledge of the Game: While a background in the golf industry is not essential, familiarity with golf and a passion for the sport would be advantageous.

Experience in a member-led or volunteer-driven environment is a significant plus.
