As part of their ongoing development, our client is expanding their Sales team and are seeking a Sales Engineer to help maximise the performance of customers’ food processing equipment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a technically minded professional looking to grow in a commercially focused role.

• Technical Sales or Engineering Experience – Previous experience in an engineering or technical sales role, ideally within manufacturing, food production, or related industries.

• Strong Proposal & Commercial Skills – Ability to create detailed technical proposals, manage costings, and ensure accurate pricing and service inclusion.

• Customer-Focused with Strong Communication – Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Office 365 tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to tight deadlines.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Methodical approach, comfortable working with data and numbers.

• Willingness to learn and continuously develop.

• Experience using SolidWorks or AutoCAD is an advantage.

Additional Role Information:

• Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as required.

• A valid driving licence is essential.
