Supply Chain Planning Manager

A global leading biologics manufacturing site is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to oversee production planning, material coordination, and inventory analysis. This role is essential for ensuring smooth manufacturing operations and aligning production schedules with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain an accurate production schedule in SAP.
• Schedule and release process orders in SAP to ensure efficient production flow.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Warehouse/Weigh & Dispense teams to ensure Just-in-Time (JIT) material availability for production.
• Collaborate across departments, including Manufacturing, Maintenance, Validation, MS&T, and QA, to optimize efficiency and resolve supply chain challenges.
• Conduct strategic planning and inventory analysis to support production needs.
• Support the New Material Introduction process.
• Act as a Supply Chain Planning representative on cross-functional projects and manufacturing initiatives.
• Work closely with planner/buyers to execute materials requirements and maintain supply continuity.
• Analyze material variances with Finance, Manufacturing, and Maintenance teams, implementing improvements through operational excellence programs.
• Manage supply chain investigations and change controls, working with teams to identify and implement solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related role, with a focus on Production Planning, Scheduling, and Inventory Control.
• Strong proficiency in SAP (ERP System) and Microsoft Excel; experience with Syncade MES is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cGMP biologics manufacturing is preferred.
• APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) is desirable.
• Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
